How the FairTab Score works

Your score is calculated from community-verified receipts. The fewer surprise fees, the higher your score.

Scores are based on three factors: service charges, credit card surcharges, and default tip prompts. Scores start at 100 and deduct points for each fee. Restaurants with no added fees and reasonable tip prompts consistently score in the Worry-Free tier.
